RKEF
The project is situated in the FHT Industrial Park, Halmahera Island, East Halmahera Regency, North Maluku Province, Indonesia. The project intends to build a ferronickel production line which operates with the rotary kiln-electric furnace smelting process (referred to as RKEF process) to process the laterite nickel ore in the project's mining area to produce downstream products and supply the industrial chain. The project has a total investment of about USD 1.812 billion.
HPAL
The laterite nickel ore HPAL production line will be built with supporting sulfuric acid, water production, wastewater treatment, public auxiliary and other systems. After completion of the project, MHP products will be produced, which can be used for battery material project as raw material. In fact, the project's completion will result in the creation of over 1000 jobs, further strengthening Indonesia's leadership position in the new energy industry.
