Electric Vehicle Battery Industry Chain Project in Indonesia
The project jointly financed by CBL and PT Aneka Tambang Tbk. (ANTAM) and PT Industri Baterai Indonesia (IBI), will be built in the FHT Industrial Park in East Halmahera Regency, North Maluku Province, Indonesia as well as in other related industrial parks in Indonesia. The project contains six segments, namely, nickel mining, RKEF, HPAL, battery materials, battery recycling and battery manufacturing.

PT Industri Baterai Indonesia
IBC was founded in March, 2021, whose shares are equally shared by Komite Nasional Indonesia Pusat (Pertamina), Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN), MIND ID and Antam (i.e. 25% each). IBC intends to establish more than one JV via collaboration with relevant partners amid its ambition in advancing development of the new energy industry in Indonesia so as to foster the end-to-end EV battery supply chain in Indonesia.
