CBL signed a framework agreement with ANTAM and IBI

On April 14, 2022, Ningbo Contemporary Brunp Lygend Co., Ltd. ("CBL") signed a framework agreement with PT Aneka Tambang Tbk., ("ANTAM") and PT Industri Baterai Indonesia ("IBI").

Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, Minister of Maritime and Investment Coordination, Bahlil Lahadalia, Minister of Investment, Erick Thohir, Minister of State Enterprise, Arifin Tarif, Minister of Energy and Mineral Resource, Hendi Prio Santoso, Chairman of MIND ID, and Zeng Yuqun, Chairman of CATL attended the signing ceremony. Chang-dong Lee, the Chairman of CBL, Nicolas D. Kanter, the President of ANTAM and Toto Nugroho, the President of IBI signed the agreement on behalf of each party. 

According to the agreement, the parties will cooperate in building the power battery industry chain projects in Indonesia, including six fields such as nickel mining, RKEF, HPAL, battery materials, battery manufacturing and battery recycling, which will certainly help accelerate the layout of power battery industry and help Indonesia build an electric vehicle battery ecosystem. We hope that we will work together to advance the project to its early completion! 

Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, Minister of Maritime and Investment Coordination of Indonesia, said, "The framework agreement signed today is of great significance to Indonesia's strategy of building an electric vehicle industry chain. I believe with the efforts of all parties, this project will be successfully completed.”

The representatives of the parties jointly stated that they would utilize the advantages of all parties, adhere to the principles of openness and fairness, mutual benefit and win-win, and stable cooperation, accelerate the construction of the project, and build double highlands of the new energy market and industry in Indonesia.
